李蔷花是贫穷的渔家女子，跟富家子弟杨逢春日久生情，但是门不当户不对，杨母则让逢春娶表妹王秀梅，逢春执意娶蔷花，杨母对蔷花恨之入骨，加上表妹秀梅跟她表哥阿飘设计陷害蔷花，导致怀孕在身的蔷花被赶出杨家，生死未卜。逢春出差回来懊悔不已，秀梅终于坐上杨家少奶奶的位置，但逢春对秀梅没有感情，正所谓强扭的瓜不甜。阿飘因为欠了一屁股债，几次找秀梅拿钱，不然抖出他们之间的丑事，最后被杨母发现，秀梅羞愧而投井自尽。逢春在酒楼找到了蔷花，可蔷花得了肝病，不久也撒手人寰，留下一大遗憾。。Architect Peter Ibbetson is hired by the Duke of Towers to design a building for him. Ibbetson discovers that the Duchess of Towers, Mary, is his now-grown childhood sweetheart. Their love revives, but Peter is sentenced to life in prison for an accidental killing. Mary comes to him in dreams and they are able to live out their romance in a dream world.。
