为从美杜莎女王手中夺取异火，萧炎在药老陪同下前往蛇人族居住的塔戈尔沙漠。却因口渴误闯绿洲，引来蛇人族高手月媚追杀。没有药老逆天协助的萧炎，眼看要被月媚杀死，生死存亡之际，幸得一位蒙面斗皇相救。不料蒙面斗皇一行人也为异火而来。美杜莎女王拒绝古河交换异火的条件，蒙面斗皇戳穿女王此刻是能量体，而真正的女王在某处准备吞噬异火，进化为斗宗。蛇人族攻击冒犯女王的古河等人，萧炎也在混战中感知到异火行踪，潜入女王所在的地心岛……。Series 3 (2002) The third and final series focused on a different character each week but with the overlaps creating a more complex layering of the plot, more akin to a one-off episode of a situation comedy (albeit with intertwined plots) than a traditional sketch show.
