传闻上古奇书《异物志》的记载中有一百年巨蟒名唤山神，头顶长有七星璀璨珠，食之可生根。消息传到当朝宦官刘靖耳中，为弥补自身的残缺私欲，刘靖命其义子前去寻觅此物，一场血雨腥风的人蛇大战就此拉开序幕。。George Harvey Bone is a composer in early 20th century London, who is under stress because he is writing a piano concerto.
