《大盘鸡》这部电影讲述的是沙湾县大盘鸡店店主老万的故事，影片以“大盘鸡秘方”为主线，故事背景以沙湾县一个开大盘鸡店的店主老万为人物线索，通过“大盘鸡”这道菜为媒介，以本不存在的大盘鸡秘方为主线，讲述做了30年大盘鸡的老万一家人的生活和感情纠葛。。一个邪恶的美人鱼爱上了Marina的未婚夫Roman，她想让Marina离开Roman的身边。这个美人鱼在几世纪前在湖里溺水身亡，为了不让恶魔美人鱼侵占自己的身体，Marina只有一周的时间克服对深水的恐惧，与这个恶魔美人鱼展开殊死搏斗....。Shot on the Great Barrier Reef and in the Bahamas, the main themes of "Ocean Wonderland" are the incredible diversity of the marine life on the reefs as well as the amazing beauty of the many varieties of coral thriving there。
