在一片密境的原始森林里，生活着一群茹毛饮血的野人，穿着兽皮，拿着武器，在森林中捍卫着自己的领域。 谢绍，柳菲菲，黄成，陆婷是大学同学，在网上无意间看到关于食人族的一段视频，四人相约，来到这片据说食人族出没的原始森林，希望能够找到一些蛛丝马迹来证实他们的存在。 然而四个人刚一进入这片森林，就被一群来历不明的人袭击，黄成的女朋友陆婷也意外的被那群人抓走，谢绍在逃亡过程中不慎滚落山坡，昏迷不醒。 陆婷被那群野人抓走后被带进了一个山洞。洞中，那群野人正在进行祭祀，一个陌生的女人被绑在木桩上，野人的祭祀围着她跳舞，野人的首领鲁索粗暴的扯掉女人的衣服，剩下的野人正欢欣的庆祝，陆婷看着这一切，充满了恐惧......。The expanded third season picks up six months after the events of season two and follows Lt.
