霍父是镖局元老，后退隐江湖，不希望儿子继承旧业。可过去的仇人非要置霍家于死地。大难临头时，霍元甲无力拯救家人，受尽屈辱。他突击学艺，将全家和乡亲们从水火之中救出，成为全村英雄。因此他被恶势力盯上，诱其上钩，欲用其利。霍元甲灭恶人，被迫离乡逃往天津港。霍元甲为了生存与天津港黑帮殊死搏斗，占领天津码头后，他希望与各方和平共处，但无法立足，只好到天津卫开镖局。但镖局市场已被瓜分，三家各有背景。老镖局想尽办法将霍元甲挤出天津卫，并将其送进监狱，置于死地。霍元甲被迫出手，统一镖局，威震四方。没想到，漕帮和青帮都看上了他，连王爷都为了个人目的拉霍元甲下水。霍元甲本想济世救民，却沦落成草寇。在打败了日本浪人和勾结洋人盗国宝的清王爷之后，他决定退出江湖。但黑暗的时代不会让他安生。。Rapture stares directly into the bright light that hip hop culture shines on the world and doesn't blink.
