In this notorious Nazi propaganda historical costume melodrama, a conniving, ambitious Jewish businessman, Suess Oppenheimer, snares a post as treasurer to the Duke of Wurttemburg by showering the corrupt duke with treasure and promises of even greater riches. As the Jew's schemes grow more elaborate and his actions more brazen, the dukedom nearly erupts into civil war. Persuaded by the Jew, the Duke all but scuttles the constitution and alienates the assembly by lifting the local ban on Jews in Stuttgart. In a final outrage, the Jew rapes a wholesome German girl and tortures her father and fiancee. When the Duke succumbs to a sudden heart attack, the assembly of Elders try the Jew and sentence him to death for having "carnal knowledge of a Christian woman." Summary written by Kevin Rayburn。主人公・幸(さち)は、木綿の産地摂津国（現大阪北中部あたり）の生まれ。元武士で商人を毛嫌いする父に育てられます。兄と父が急死、母と妹・結を残し、大坂天満(おおさかてんま)の呉服屋「五鈴屋（いすずや）」に女中奉公に入ります。「商いは邪道」と教えられていた幸ですが、五鈴屋の商いを目の当たりにし、その面白さに心を奪われます。幸の商才に気付いたのが三男・智蔵と番頭の治兵衛(じへえ)、先々代（二代目）の御寮さんの富久(ふく)でした。五鈴屋は、古手の行商から商いをはじめ、二代目の時に大坂天満に呉服を扱う店を構えました。しかし、三代目夫婦が早逝、商売を継いだ四代目・徳兵衛(とくべえ)は、商いに身が入らず、放蕩の限りを尽くしていました。傾きかけた店を立て直すため、四代目徳兵衛に船場の大店から嫁・菊栄を迎えますが、徳兵衛の放蕩は結局収まらず、数年で離婚。すでに、悪評の...。沙迪（萨莱·巴克里 Saleh Bakri 饰）的妹妹就要结婚了，根据村里的传统，沙迪必须和父亲（穆罕默德·巴克里 Mohammed Bakri 饰）开着他们的小车，挨家挨户的当面将请柬送给亲戚朋友们。这也就意味着，沙迪一路上都要和自己久别重逢的父亲捆绑在一起。 沙迪对于父亲的很多生活习惯都非常的看不惯，觉得他思想顽固而落后，就像家乡里的大部分碌碌无为的人一样。在沙迪很小的时候，母亲无法忍受村里闭塞的环境，选择抛弃了丈夫和孩子们远走他乡，虽然沙迪失去了母爱，但是现在的他完全可以理解母亲当初的选择。随着旅行的行进，沙迪和父亲之间的关系越来越紧张起来。。
