希腊导演安哲罗普洛斯的第一部故事长片拍摄于1970年，片名为《重建》。影片叙述的是希腊一个“慢慢衰落下去的”农庄中所发生的杀人与侦破杀人案的故事：这个村里的男人大都去德国当了劳工，移民木可斯塔回乡探亲，被他的妻子和她的情夫谋杀了，木可的亲友报警之后，初审法官“重建”案发现场，一些新闻记者从雅典专程赶到，当凶案破译时，有一个名叫安哲罗普洛斯的导演正在筹拍一部关于此案的电影。。A young American woman moves to London to pursue the man of her dreams.
