故事发生在民国时期的上海。张铁七（徐小明 饰）、容百川（刘家辉 饰）、周重义（王龙威 饰）和胡江道（王华 饰）是上海滩上有名的风雷雨电四天王，其中容百川有一双自幼习武的孪生子女，他们是长女明珠（李赛凤 饰）与次子海山（赵文卓 饰）。时值情窦初开的海山违父安排的相亲，与日侨横山樱子（袁洁莹 饰）私定终身，樱子的父亲横山十兵卫（仓田保昭 饰）是日本琉球古武道的掌门人。由于中日文化、生活习惯不同，婚后樱子闹出不少笑话。好武的她提出与海山比武，恰巧被赶来的十兵卫撞见，他误为海山欺负女儿，加之暗恋樱子的鬼冢（国建勇 饰）从中挑唆，樱子被娘家强行带走，余愤难平的十兵卫向容家下了战书，不日，上海武林将上演中日大决战......。京圈太子爷为妻子甘愿退居幕后，然而深情付出，换来的却是妻子的无情背叛，出差一年的妻子怀了前男友的孩子，对陆辰百般羞辱。在认清妻子的真面目后，陆辰果断抽离，绝地反击，而柳如烟却沉浸在陆辰永远会是自己的舔狗的幻想中，不愿醒来……。The subtitle of Jean-Marie Straub and Danièle Huillet’s first feature, from 1965, “Only Violence Helps Where Violence Reigns,” suggests the fierce political program evoked by their rigorous aesthetic. The pretext of the film, set in Cologne, is Heinrich Böll’s novel “Billiards at Half Past Nine,” which they strip down to a handful of stark events and film with a confrontational angularity akin to Bartók’s music that adorns the soundtrack. The subtlest of cues accompany the story’s complex flashbacks. The middle-aged Robert Fähmel tells a young hotel bellhop of persecutions under the Third Reich| his elderly father, Heinrich, an architect famed for a local abbey, recalls the militarism of the First World War, when his wife, Johanna, incurred trouble for insulting the Kaiser. A third-generation Fähmel is considering architecture, just as the exiled brother of Robert’s late wife, returns, only to be met by their former torturer, now a West German official taking part in a celebratory parade of war veterans. Straub and Huillet make the layers of history live in the present tense, which they judge severely. The tamped-down acting and the spare, tense visual rhetoric suggest a state of moral crisis as well as the response—as much in style as in substance—that it demands.。
