《王茂生进酒》王茂生原是个淳朴、风趣的农民。可是，自从逃荒避税、流落到长安城外以来，夫妻日常就只有忧柴忧米的心境。一天，茂生偶然听到城里新的平辽王府主人就是薛仁贵的消息，不禁喜出望外，忙告诉老婆准备前去祝贺。原来18年前他在故乡汾河湾曾周济过落魄的薛仁贵，两人结为兄弟，情同手足。毛氏担心隔别日久、贵贱悬殊，不便高攀；同时两手空空更不好登门。茂生却认为道贺和叙旧之外并无所求，不妨走走。于是夫妻挖空心思，张罗了一坛“酒”(以水为酒)作为贺礼。夫妻赶到王府门前，因触犯了拜府的文武官员，大受呵斥。门官见他们衣衫褴褛，又不懂“礼仪”，便狡猾地留下礼物、掷回拜帖，叱他们滚蛋!茂生受不了这种欺侮，和门官吵起来，几乎动武。毛氏急中生智，乘机把拜帖送进王府去。薛仁贵发现拜帖，大喜过望，传令给茂...。Set against the world of a major drug cartel bust, the series follows two low-level cops who have spent far too much time in a car together| two criminals who are largely kept in the dark| two dispatch workers who haven't really clicked| and two Mexican tunnelers who are in way too small a space considering they've only just met.。Good Sam stars Sophia Bush as Dr. Sam Griffith, a gifted young heart surgeon looking to come into her own personally and professionally.
