Something evil is hunting them.。在我国云南省澜沧江流域，居住着一个少数民族——拉祜族，他们勤劳勇敢、淳朴善良，由于历代统治阶级的压迫的歧视，也使得他们形成了反抗压迫的坚强性格。解放前，国民党反动派对待拉祜族人民奸淫烧杀、蛮横掠夺，无所不为。每当谷子成熟时，总是被国民党匪军抢掠一空。拉祜族人民虽然生活在这样一个黑暗的世界里，但是他们反抗的意志和坚韧的性格一点没有削减。1947年8月15日，拉祜族人民根据传统的习俗，穿着美丽的衣服，载歌载舞地欢度节日。年轻的猎手扎妥在这天晚上向他爱慕着的姑娘娜娃表示了爱情。他们沉醉在甜蜜的初恋…。
